Put an amen to it!
Ethan (played by John Wayne) return to his brothers house after years served in the civil war. Shortly after, most of his family is brutally slaughtered/taken hostage by indians, and he forms a search party to rescue his captured niece.

- Reverend Clayton: I ain’t finished yet.
- Ethan: There’s no more time for praying! AMEN!

Spoiler alert: they find the niece alive, but not until 5 years after the funeral. One might ask how long it would have taken if he had waited for the reverend to do his thing? Ages, I tell you, ages.
